The Straightening Salon satirises the idea of normative gendered images and presents a bleak overview of the straight aesthetic, showing a series of postcards from the twilight world of the heterosexual - disguised as a 'reprogramming device' inspired by psychiatry's underbelly (....and "Hairspray" and "A Clockword Orange".)

The Straighening Salon made it's first 'outing' to Duckie's Gay Shame 2008
Lorraine 'n' Alan are currently re-insulating the caravan in order to tour the UK throughout 2012.
